ILPPW 2023 NEWS ARTICLE COMPETITION

Greeting from CEPHED
In line with the celebration of the 11th International Lead Poisoning Prevention Week (ILPPW) in Nepal, jointly called globally by UNEP and WHO from October 22 to 28, 2023, please find the notice for the NEWS ARTICLE COMPETITION among the Journalists of Nepal. CEPHED will be hosting ILPPW events in Nepal supported by the Government of Nepal, the Ministry of Health and Population (MOHP), the National Health Education, Information and Communication Center (NHEICC), and the World Health Organization (WHO), the Country Office for Nepal.
Based on the given TOR for the Competition, any journalist from all the provinces of Nepal can write, publish and submit the published news article related to LEAD POISONING PREVENTION and LEAD IN PAINT to the given address of CEPHED formally to be entered in the competition.
The news articles should be either in Nepali or English and must be published in the PRINT MEDIA (Newspaper/Magazine) only, from 27th August to 15th October 2023.
Up on evaluation, the first three winners will be awarded the First, Second, and Third Prizes. Additionally, two consolation awards will be also provided. Cash and Certificate prizes will be awarded to the selected journalists by organizing an AWARD CEREMONY in Kathmandu.
Winner journalists from outside the Kathmandu Valley will be also provided with TA and DSA for participating in the Award Ceremony during the week of Action.
